We are fully bonded and insured and carry full workers compensation coverage. We adhere to all current OSHA and safety standards.
Q. Does Roof Masters of New Mexico service all types of roofing? A. We do service most major types of roofing that are currently used in central New Mexico. From shingles to, tile, hot tar, metal and single ply roofing we have you covered!
Q. What brand of roofing material are used for repairs and new roofs? A. We use only top quality brands like Owens Corning, GAF, Tamko, CertainTeed and Versico. These brands are widely recognized in the roofing industry for being the highest quality products available today! Material selection for roofing is very important and as always we believe in providing the highest quality products at the most reasonable prices.
Q. What are the terms of payment for a roof repair and new roof? A. Payment for roofing repairs are due at the time of service. Payment terms for a new or re-roof job are generally 50% down payment down payment and the balance at the completion of the job. For real estate professionals we may make an exception to the above stated payment terms, please inquire for more details. We take all major credit cards, checks, cash and have many financing options available. Q. Do you perform insurance work and hail or weather damage repairs? A. Yes, We do perform repairs and replacements for all types of weather damage or insurance claims. We will work with all insurance companies to ensure a smooth transaction.
Q. Does your company perform small roof repairs and general roof maintenance? A. Yes, we do perform all types of small repairs and seasonal/general maintenance. Weather you have a small problem or a big problem we can take care of all your roofing needs.
Q. Is there a warranty for roof repairs? A. Warranties on roof repairs will depend on the type of repair being performed. Generally we will provide a 120 day warranty on all leak repairs. Your estimator will note on the estimate if the repair will be covered under a repair warranty.
Q. How long does it take to receive a roofing estimate? A. We can generally perform a same day or next day roofing estimate on your home. All estimates are generated onsite and will be delivered to you at the time of the estimate. At times due to due to high demand (ie. after a heavy storm) it may take slightly longer for a roofing estimate.
Q. How long does the typical roofing job take and how many workers will be present? A. Once you have accepted our estimate and we have been contracted to perform the work the typical residential roofing job should be completed within 1-2 days from the start of the job. For the average single family home roof replacement we will usually have 4-8 workers present.
Q. How long is the warranty for my new roof valid? A. The workmanship warranty that we provide you on a new roof is generally valid for 5-10 years on flat roofing and single ply, 7-10 years on shingle roofing and 10-12 years on metal roofing. The material warranty will vary depending on the type of roof that is used on your home. Typical material warranties will range from 10-50 years from the manufacturer.
Q. Does Roof Masters of New Mexico perform emergency roof repairs? A. We do not generally perform emergency repairs. However we are at times available for repairs 7 days a week or for late night or early morning repairs. We do encourage you to call to check availability if you are experiencing a current problem.
Q. What is the best time to have a new roof installed? A. Right now! Material pricing has dropped over 25% on average from their highs last year and most likely will not stay low for too long. Q. How do I file a warranty claim for my roof? A. Simply follow the instructions listed on the warranty contract. If you have lost your warranty contract please contact us for information on how to recieve a duplicate copy.
Q. Is a 30 year shingle really warranted for 30 years?
A. Yes. However, after a designated period of time (usually 5 years) the product is warranted at a pro-rated rate where you will only be reimbursed for the depreciated value of the product covered. The average lifespan of all shingles will vary depending on the different conditions from region to region.
